Guidance, Policies and Procedures

This page contains links to various useful documents beneficial to both members and Group Leaders. They can be viewed and downloaded by clicking on the relevant link.  Please remember that these documents have been compiled with the intention of covering as many possibilities as may exist but that they cannot be all-encompassing.  For example, the 'walk leader risk assessment checklist' should be treated as a checklist first and foremost and should simply help in creating the regular email set out prior to a walk.  The only time a risk assessment will be necessary is when organisation of an event is delegated and the document is used to ensure that the 'deputy organiser' has seen and considered the checklist.  With that in mind it is useful to remember and to remind participants that, as reasonable adults, they are ultimately responsible for their own welfare.

PLEASE NOTE:- When finishing with the selected document it is advisable to use the page back button to return to the website. Closing the tab may close the website.

If there is anything at all that you feel should be available on this page please inform a member of the Committee or the Website Manager.
