The Constitution gives details on the make-up of the committee and how long an individual can be in any given role. If you read the Constitution you will realise that not all functions require membership of the committee but all roles need somebody to perform those duties for a time as well as an assistant or understudy in order to provide some sort of continuity. It is also worth mentioning that some of the roles are critical and that without those essential roles being filled March u3a cannot continue to operate and would need to be closed.
