The Walkers group was formed to provide longer walks for some members of the Strollers group. It is intended to operate similarly to the Strollers but walking up to about six miles on each outing. We are a very friendly and welcoming group who not only enjoy some lovely walks in quite scenic areas but socialise after each walk while sharing lunch in a pub, café or having a picnic.  On average 10-12 of us join each walk, sharing transport to the starting points which are usually within a 30 mile radius of March.  The only costs are a fuel contribution and the cost of lunch.  New members are welcome and if you are interested in joining this group then email the group leader via the contact link above.
